Who pays the booking fee?

Quick answers

Pricing, in plain English.

Are there any hidden fees?

No setup, no monthly subscription, no platform fee. The 4% + 20p booking fee is the only money we make, and it's itemised on every order.

Do charities really pay less?

Yes. Registered charities and CIOs pay 3% + 20p. Get in touch when you register and we'll get your rate updated.

Can the society absorb the fee instead?

Yes. Per event, choose whether the patron pays the fee on top of face value, or the patron pays exactly the face value and the fee comes out of your payout. Switch any time before sale opens.

Who handles refunds?

You do, in two clicks. Ticket prices come back to the patron in full. Booking fees cover card-processing costs incurred at the point of sale and are non-refundable.

When do I get paid?

Payouts are sent by BACS to a UK bank account seven days after the final performance of each event. The short delay covers refunds and lets us check there were no problems with the show before the money moves.

What payment methods are supported?

All major credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard and the usual UK debit cards. We don't currently accept American Express.
