The short version

Selling tickets for the spring panto shouldn't feel like launching a tech start-up. So we made it feel a bit more like passing the programme at the door.

Made for organisers, not platforms

The bits you'd hope for, the bits you didn't know you needed.

Everything we do

Online before the kettle's boiled

Add a show, set the prices, share the link. Your audience can book before the next item on the agenda.

Looks like you

Your colours, your wordmark, your house style. The booking page belongs to your venue, not to us.

Treasurer-friendly money

Plain-English receipts, charity-aware fee handling, and an audit trail your auditor will love.

Cash-on-the-door, still

Walk-ups, cheques, the bucket of pound coins from the raffle. Record them all alongside the online sales.

Real humans, real replies

Email support staffed by people who've been there and done it before. Clear answers, fast. No chatbots, ever.

Seating plans you can draw

Free seating for the panto, allocated seats for the chamber concert. Wheelchair spaces handled properly.

Yes, we thought about that

The questions every committee asks.

"Will the treasurer trust this?"

Every penny is tracked. You see fees, refunds and net takings on every order. BACS payout seven days after each show closes, and a CSV your accountant can drop straight into Sage.

"Our average age is 65."

Then we built it for you. Big buttons, plain English, no surprise pop-ups. Every committee member can have their own login or share one, whichever's easier.

"Some folk still pay cash."

Of course they do. Record cash, cheque or bank-transfer sales next to your online ones. Door lists print with everyone on them, in alphabetical order.

"We're a registered charity."

VAT and the right wording on every receipt. We can also flag the booking fee to patrons as it really is, covering card costs.

"The hall isn't really ours."

Many groups share venues. Set up multiple seating plans, hand booking control to a guest director, then pull it back when the run's over.

"And our patron data?"

Held securely on our infrastructure, with strict role-based access for your team and a full audit trail. Export it whenever you like, in plain CSV. No lock-in, no surprises.

From committee meeting to curtain up

Four steps, no developer required.

Why I'm building this

I've sat on amateur committees, run the box office on a Saturday night, and chased lost tickets through the cast WhatsApp. The software you're stuck with is either expensive, ugly, or both. Your venue deserves better.

Time For A Show is built openly, shaped by the venues that use it. If you'd like a say in what comes next, over email or a quick Zoom, we'd love to hear from you.
Curtain up

Your spring show,
