The short version Be honest, be lawful, and be decent to other people. Only list events you have the right to run, keep your content accurate and appropriate, and don't try to break or abuse the platform. Cross the line and we may remove content or close the account.

1. What this policy covers

This acceptable use policy sets out the terms under which you may access and use timeforashow.com. It applies to all users — patrons buying tickets and organisers listing shows. By using the site you agree to these rules. They supplement, and should be read alongside, our Terms & Conditions.

2. Prohibited uses

You may use the site only for lawful purposes. You must not use it:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
  • In any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or intended to deceive.
  • To transmit unsolicited advertising or promotional material (spam).
  • To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • To scrape, data-mine, or load-test the site without our written permission.
  • To access any part of the site's infrastructure without authorisation.
  • To impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • To list events you do not have the rights to put on.

3. Content standards

Any content you post — show descriptions, images, comments — must be accurate, legal, and not harmful. Contributions must not:

  • Contain material that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or inflammatory.
  • Promote violence or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
  • Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
  • Promote any illegal activity or provide instructions for committing one.
  • Threaten, harass, or invade the privacy of any other person.

4. Interactive services

Where we provide interactive services — such as comments or forums — we will tell you what kind of moderation applies. We are not obliged to moderate every post, but we reserve the right to remove anything that breaches these content standards. Use of any interactive service by a minor requires the consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Suspension & termination

If we believe you have breached this policy, we may take any of the following actions: issue a warning; temporarily or permanently suspend your account; remove any content you've posted; report you to law enforcement authorities. We exclude liability for actions taken in good faith in response to a breach.

Breach of this policy constitutes a material breach of our Terms & Conditions, which may result in termination of your right to use the site.

6. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy at any time by updating this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For questions, write to abuse@timeforashow.com.
