The short version We collect only what we need to take your booking, send your tickets and keep the platform safe. We never sell your data. The organiser whose show you book gets your details so they can run their event; everyone else only sees what they strictly need to.

1. Who we are

Time For A Show Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 13972539). Our registered office is Mistletoe Cottage Fockerby, Garthorpe, Scunthorpe, England, DN17 4SA. We are the data controller for the personal information we hold about you. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, write to us at privacy@timeforashow.com.

2. What we collect

When you use our site we may collect: your name and email address; your billing address and payment details (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card number); your purchase history and account information; website usage data including pages visited and how long you spent on them; your IP address and browser type; and, if you contact us, a record of that correspondence.

3. Why we use your data

We use your data to: process and fulfil your ticket orders; send you booking confirmations and e-tickets; manage your account; send service emails (e.g. show reminders, refund notifications); improve the site; prevent fraud; and, where you've opted in, send occasional marketing emails about shows and platform updates.

4. Lawful bases

We process your data on three lawful bases under UK GDPR: contract — to fulfil your booking and manage your account; legal obligation — to comply with financial and tax regulations; and legitimate interests — to keep the platform secure and improve our services. For marketing emails we rely on consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send.

5. Where we get data from

Most of the data we hold comes directly from you — when you create an account, buy a ticket, or contact us. Some technical data (IP address, browser type) is collected automatically when you visit the site. We do not buy data from third-party marketing lists.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, plus six years after you close it (for accounting and legal purposes). Booking records are kept for six years. Marketing preferences are kept until you change them. You can request deletion at any time — see section 8.

7. Who we share it with

We share your booking details with the organiser of the show you've booked, so they can manage attendance. We use Stripe for payment processing, AWS for hosting, and standard email delivery services — all subject to appropriate data processing agreements. We do not sell your data. We may disclose data if required by law or a regulator.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@timeforashow.com. We'll respond within one calendar month.

9. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the site. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

10. How to complain

If you have concerns about how we use your data, please write to us first at privacy@timeforashow.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113.
