Accounting and payouts

Time For A Show pays your ticket revenue directly to your bank account after each event. This article covers setting up your bank details and understanding your transaction history.

Setting up your bank account:

  1. From your dashboard, click Accounting in the navigation menu.
  2. Select the organisation you want to configure payouts for.
  3. In the Bank account section, click Edit.
  4. Enter your:
  5. Account holder name: the name on the bank account.
  6. Sort code: 6 digits.
  7. Account number: 8 digits.
  8. Click Save.

You can update these details at any time. Changes take effect from the next scheduled payout.

When are payouts made?

Payouts are scheduled automatically 7 days after each performance date. This delay allows time for any refund requests. The Payouts section of the Accounting page shows upcoming and completed payouts with their expected dates.

Your balance:

The Credit balance shows any revenue that has been collected but not yet paid out. This includes revenue from events that ended less than 7 days ago.

Transaction history:

The Transactions tab lists every financial event on your account:

  1. Sales: revenue collected when a patron places an order.
  2. Refunds: amounts returned to patrons.
  3. Fees: Time For A Show's booking fees (shown for transparency).
  4. Payouts: transfers to your bank account.

Use the tabs to filter by type, or use the date range filter to narrow results.

Exporting:

  1. CSV export: click Export CSV to download all visible transactions as a spreadsheet. Useful for bookkeeping.
  2. Financial statement PDF: click Statement to download a formatted PDF summary suitable for treasurer reports.
